Dr. George Sleeba

Dr. George Sleeba, Chairman & Managing Director of Fertilizers And Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(FACT) is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from University of Kerala. He did his M Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT, Madras, Post Graduate Diploma in Management from All India Management Association and Doctorate in Management from Cochin University of Science & Technology.

Dr. George Sleeba has over 35 years of Professional experience in various capacities. He held various senior level positions in FACT such as Executive Director (Marketing), General Manager (Personnel), General Manager (FEDO) etc. Dr. George Sleeba was the Managing Director of The Travancore Cements Limited and The Travancore Sugars Limited (Government of Kerala Undertakings) from June 1999 to June 2001. He has held the position of Directors in other Public Sector Undertakings.

Dr. George Sleeba is a recipient of many awards and recognitions, including Padmashree Paul Pothen Endowment Award for professional excellence, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence in Industry and Merit Award from FACT for outstanding performance.
Dr. George Sleeba is a visiting faculty for MBA programmes of various universities and faculty & trainer in HRM and Industrial engineering.
