College of Engineering, Trivandrum, founded in the year 1939 by the practical vision and foresight of the rulers of Travancore is a pioneering and premier professional institution in India. From the modest intake of 21 students to the present capacity of 5000, the college has to its credit some of the brightest minds in the country and abroad.

Department of Business Administration

CET started its MBA studies in 1985 as a part-time programme and has been well received by the practicing management fraternity. A department of the current status was started in 2000 with a full-time programme. CET - MBA is now one of the premier management programmes in South India and has achieved excellence in quality education.

The department provides a platform to continuously supervise and evaluate the students and instill enthusiasm, dynamism and appropriate awareness of professional management. The MBA programme accommodates the collaborative nature of eastern ethos and the competitive culture of the west.
